God’s Heart for Home Church

I went to Kenya for the second time in Feb after coming from a season of pouring into house churches in the USA. My ministry partner, Bernie, had invited me to come as he helps to offer leadership to a group of churches in Kisumu. We were amazed to hear brothers in Kenya also feel led towards hebraic home fellowships as we have seen in the USA and UK as well.

God is speaking a restoration to what He started in the very beginning…family homes that were walking in His ways, with revelation of Jesus, and empowered and led by Holy Spirit. What a blessing to get to serve the Body of Messiah in these days, to see them grow in maturity and in love for Jesus!

Everywhere we go we hear the desire for more…more of Him and more community. There is a drawing of the Lord back to the simplicity of loving Him and loving one another. It is in smaller settings of homes where breaking bread, deep/healing fellowship, listening prayer/worship, and Spirit led teaching can truly equip and change us. Where we can be known and grow into the fullness of Jesus.

We are on the journey back to what He began at the start.
